Christabel Daniella. Patio & Pergola. May 28th , 2017.
Although I've seen it done, I don't think you want to be carrying trays of drinks down several steps. One step down to the patio, and another step or two from the patio to the backyard, is acceptable. Any more than that, and you should build a deck, or build a platform under the patio, because you will then have the ability to adjust the height of the deck or patio to the conditions.
Patio gazebos are installed by either bolting them to the surface of your patio, or by cutting post holes in your patio and cementing the posts into the ground below. Consult the manufacturer to decide which method to use, and how to go about doing it. Depending on the design and weight of your gazebo, methods will vary.
Quigley mentioned a light breeze picked up an umbrella from down the beach and drilled it at speeds up to 40 miles per hour into his left eye. Mast and frame of your patio umbrella are either silver anodized or finished with a powder coating in a single of over 200 RAL-colors. Combine with fabric colors and distinct trim strips to generate your one of a kind patio umbrella.
First decide where on your patio you would like the gazebo to be situated. For small to mid-size patios, the corner is a great place to put a gazebo. It will be out of the way, saving space, yet still displayed prominently enough to be an accent people will notice. Large patios give you more flexibility. If you want to put the gazebo right in the very middle of your patio, then by all means, do it. You can 'justify' such placement by arranging surrounding patio furniture accordingly.
